دیکتاتوری را رد کنیم، چه موقت و چه دائمی

Dear Friends, Yesterday in a postscript to a recent note, I wrote because of my health and ordinary life conditions, will not publish anything till further notice! Since we are now at a critical juncture in Iran's history, I just wanted to write this reminder to all of us before leaving you. A lesson we have all learned from more than a century of Communism in power in the world, is that dictatorship, albeit temporary or permanent, should be rejected in any plan for our future state! I am not going to discuss the reason for this verdict here, because researched and discussed it in details for more than 40 years (please click here for the works); we need to stand by *Democracy* for our future state (albeit temporary or permanent); no matter what!
Why I am writing this note today is because I see very honest friends in Iran's opposition and with good intentions, belonging to various shades of political spectrum, are advocating some kind of temporary dictatorship as a transitional government after the end of Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI)! No dictatorship, whether temporary or permanent, should be accepted by Iran's opposition. If reasons such as chaos in the country is brought up, we should still not accept a dictatorial provisional government, and in fact, unfortunately, Iran has been 'another Palestine' for a long time, and scaring people that with the fall of IRI, Iran will become 'another Palestine,' is meaningless!
Hoping for a democratic and secular futurist republic in Iran,
Sam Ghandchi
