Forty one years ago at the time of Iranian Revolution, I was a sympathizer of the left and was a leftist still two years after the 1979 Revolution, but then I became a futurist and later wrote a book entitled 'Futurist Iran: Futurism versus Terrorism' where I discussed that the old problems of freedom and social justice cannot be solved with plans offered for the industrial society, whether socialist or capitalist, and need to be addressed in the framework of a post-industrial society best described by Daniel Bell in his futuristic work 'The Coming of Post-Industrial Society' in 1973. Today half a century later, we are living in the Age of Singularity as best described by Ray Kurzweil in his 2005 masterpiece entitled 'The Singularity is Near' and not only old problems such as freedom and justice but all new issues can only be addressed in the framework of this Age of Singularity and it does not matter whether you live in Iran or in the United States. The current corona virus pandemic shows this reality the best when mice modified with human genes are essential to test any vaccine. Gene modifications like making insulin using modified human genes in the pigs have been used for quite some time. Dangers of side effects are undeniable and need to be addressed but this *is* and *will be* the reality of living in the Age of Singularity, it is not a paradise with milk and honey as discussed in 'New Variant to Meet Human Needs.'
