We have discussed enough about Hashd-ol-Shaabi, and this week's events in Iraq related to Hashd-ol-Shaabi militia group against US forces backed by Islamic Regime of Iran (IRI), are nothing new. The reality is that current Iraqi government although it has more *Shiite* influence; but is a *secular* state, just as Iraqi state was a *secular* state before the fall of Saddam although it had more *Sunni* influence at that time. A secular state needs to take a firm stand against IslamicKKK albeit the Sunni version like Daesh, or the Shiite version like Hashd-ol-Shaabi; otherwise, it will end up to be a failed state like the religious Sunni states of Taliban in Afghanistan, Daesh in Mosul and Raqqa, or the failed religious Shiite IRI state of Iran. Secularism is the key to Iraq's success just as the lack of secularism has been the key to Iran's failure in the last 40 years.
