Fifteen years ago an
article entitled 'Reactionary Reformism' (1) was published in Persian by
this author as a fundamental rejection of
Islamic Reformism. In a nutshell, Islamic Reformists are not any different from
other Islamic Fundamentalists who support the attempts of Islamic Ku Klux Klan
(2), to turn back modernization as we saw in the attempts of Mohamed Morsi's
government in Egypt (3). The only difference of Islamic Reformists with Daesh is
their endeavors to turn people into share holders of the Islamic State. Iran's
Islamic Reformists want people to take pride in being a martyr in the wars that
Iran's Islamic regime instigates just as we saw the provocations towards Israel
in Iran's President Rouhani's speech yesterday
(4). Islamic Reformists want Iranian
movie stars and musicians to be regime's partner to fight the sanctions Islamism
has brought upon Iranian people (5). Islamic Reformists work to get people's
support for pseudo nationalist causes the Islamic regime has continuously
created since its inception, including the war with Saddam Hussein and the
battle against economic sanctions, but more importantly Islamic reformists want
to turn Iranian people into partners of Islamic KKK in its attempt to turn back
modernism which has been continuing for 40 years in Iran (6).
Hoping for a democratic and secular futurist republic in Iran,
