Dear Dr.
Masoud Pezeshkian,
I just saw an article from
intellinews with a fair assessment of the 12-Day war and your
thoughts about making changes in Iran. I always
opposed Iran-Israel War and although I
wished it would never happen but I am happy you are trying to get the right
lesson from it. I always opposed
Reactionay Reformism but supported
Progressive Reformism. In fact Egypt, learned a good lesson from
the 6-Day war with Israel and recently when I had a customer support need with
my Internet Service here in the USA, I noticed the lady who was providing the
support for me on the phone was located in Egypt! In other words the US company
had employed her in Egypt to provide service online in the USA! This is really a
long way from the days Egypt could not even talk to the USA let alone to be able
to have such a close relationship for a US Internet company to do business like
this that nowadays only countries like India have such close association with
the US companies. So I hope Iran can also achieve such a relationship with the
USA and the world at large and end all animosities and it all starts from
home as you have said in your note and I hope you work with people such as
Iran's Nelson Mandela Mr. Hossein Ronaghi
to achieve such a relationship between Iran, USA and rest of the world! BTW I
would like to ask you to look into something that happened right at the start of
the 12-Day War! An innocent prisoner by the name of
Mojahed Kourkour was executed that day. He was accused of the
crime of killing martyr
Kian Pirfalak.
Both parents of Kian had given sworn testimonies that Mojahed Korkor was
innocent. I believe his execution was done by those in the government who were
paid off by the enemies of Iranian people who wanted to create a mass uprising
in that area of Iran in support of the attacks on Iran and to gain support for
certain groups in the oppostion. In a way this was very similar to what
happened in Cinema Rex of Abadan before Iranian 1979 Revolution although it did
not succeed in its objective. Right after the execution of
Mojahed Kourkour, I posted an article entitled
From Cinema Rex to Execution of Mojahed Korkor!
I hope you investigate this matter and determine who
had been paid off to commit that heinous crime in your government which is only
comparable to what happened in the atrociety of Cinema Rex of Abadan in 1979.
Frankly Iran needs to fix a lot of things if an honest progressive reform is
going to happen and I am sure cooperating with
Iran's Nelson Mandela Mr. Hossein Ronaghi
can help to
make the right choices for a transformation to a democratic, secular and
futurist state which is what the Iranian people want and any enemy tries to
take advantage of giving lip serivce to that objective, to achieve their goals
and not to achieve freedom. People of Iran want freedom to decide for themselves
and the times of a religious state are long gone and religion is a private
matter for people and the state has no business to force any religion or oppose
any and separation of state and religion is what has been good for both religion
and state. We should learn from Saudi Arabia and Persian Gulf states that are
understanding the needs of their countries rather than insisting on backward
ways of the past and are trying to change themselves. Good luck in your new
efforts.
Hoping for a democratic and secular futurist
republic in Iran,
Sam Ghandchi
