Chinese Communism was a failed 'paradise' just like the Soviet Communism; but, current China and Russia are far from Maoist China or Stalinist Soviet Union, and during the last 30 years these two countries have developed market economy and inception of liberalism. They are as much part of secular world as US and Europe, nonetheless, surely have a much more dictatorial background in recent history than most major Western European countries, maybe with the exception of Germany! US needs to encourage liberal development in China and Russia rather than emphasizing a return to Cold War, and the goal should be reaching a Kurzweilian future for the world at large, rather than going back to Cold War era of 20th Century! US better to lead the former, not the latter which is a reversal! The current political rift of US with China and Russia is only helping IslamicKKK to take the modern world hostage using a wedge within the modern secular states of the world.
