I just saw the news of IRI President, when Mr. Hassan Rouhani making a verbal attack on the US regarding Iranian Airbus A-310 passenger plane in Syria. Why doesn't Mr. Hassan Rouhani say the truth about the tragedy of Flight 752. IRI knew it is a passenger plane when it was shot down, they did not know it is a plane with Iranian passengers approved to fly to Iran's airport, and thought it is a passenger plane wandering to Tehran's airport because of Baghdad airport being closed to passenger planes by IRI's recommendation to Iraqi government to close airport in expectation of skirmish following an IRI attack on US bases in Iraq in revenge of the killing of Sardar Qasem Soleimani; IRI hoped to make the airplane's shot-down look like the accident that happened to Iran Air Flight 655 (AirBus A300 plane) at the time of Iran-Iraq war and internationally present it as such an event. But when it became clear that a huge number of Iranians were killed in the event, IRI immediately informed the White House and said their attack on US bases in Iraq was for internal consumption and nothing serious. Shooting down a passenger plane was planned by IRI for over a year, long before Sardar Qasem Soleimani's death, and it all ended in the tragedy of Flight 752.
