Yesterday, IRGC air force commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh, said IRI, on June 20, 2019, also spotted a passenger plane with 38 people onboard flying near the US drone and continued that IRI could have targeted it, but did not because their goal was shooting down the US drone to give a warning. Wow! They shot down a drone near a passenger plane to give a warning as they say, and did not think they could have hit the passenger plane as well. The IRGC commander expressed such a cruelty with a grin on his face. As Persian saying goes, ozre badtar az gonah, meaning excuse-worse-than-guilt. At the same time, yesterday, President Trump said, the US was ready to retaliate on 3 different sights but when he asked how many will die, the answer from a General was 150 people, and thus 10 minutes before the strike he stopped it, saying not proportionate to shooting down an unmanned drone. Many ordinary Iranians saw <compassion> in yesterday's words of President Trump and saw <cruelty> in the words of the above noted IRGC commander.
