We are in the midst of exponential growth of corona virus and Democrats blame President Trump for scarcity of ventilators. I do not want to enter into a partisan debate about what happened in 2013, a year after start of President Obama's second term, and cutting Gene Therapy budget was not all and it was not just Obama. For years, NIH has become so corrupt that highly talented geniuses were rejected in favor of mediocre candidates connected with government bureaucrats in charge: For political positions may not hurt the work as much but for science and technology! Long before Obama years, Ray Kurzweil, a real futurist, told us about exponential change and even dreamt of using it to beat death in our lifetime with the arrival of Singularity. Unfortunately we are now witnessing corona virus driving humans to death exponentially. Why?
