Causality is a human concept that has worked well not only for human civilizations to make progress; but it also gave rise to a belief in God, which is another human concept itself with its own consequences! Aristotle formulated four causes and 'unmoved mover.' Descartes showed the difficulties of causality, and Spinoza dropped Final Causes! Later on, Hume had the courage of dropping causality in his philosophy. The reality remains that God and Causality are simply 'human concepts' and may remain with us long after AI gives us new perspectives on the world as we know it!
