PS 02/07/25: BTW I do have a solution for the Post Office problem that I wrote about in this article this morning but please do not ask me to become the US Post Master:); because seriously I am already very busy with my cancer and should not even spend all this time on the Internet which is mainly because of my fear of military attack on Iran and want to do something about it! But my solution to the post office problem is very simple! Basically the post office problem was always there that the US Mail Delivery personnel never liked to carry heavy boxes but the customers for heavy boxes were retail stores and US mail delivery people would always discourage them from using the US Mail and would ask them to use UPS instead and this is how UPS got the US Mail business in the first place, but the situation got this bad ever since the US Post Office signed a contract with Amazon whose customers are ordinary people spread everywhere and this broke the camel's back and those who could quit basically did leave the post office and the others are just doing a bad job! What is the solution? In my opinion there is a simple solution! The Post Office can deliver regular envelopes on the odd days and can deliver boxes on the even days and those who want same-day-delivery can use express mail and different staff with different pay rates can be hired for delivering each of these three categories! That is all. SG

Dear VP Kamala Harris,  Hello and I have no contact with you or with Elon Musk but would like to make this suggestion to you with regards to DOGE. I think you can help with it! Let me just tell you what happened to me yesterday. I was supposed to file my taxes and needed my SSA tax report for this year*. But I noticed I did not have it. The apartment complex I live in has been under construction for two years:) and most of the units for the last month have been losing US Mail! I reported to the US Post Office of my city that I had lost mail and they did me a favor and returned some of my mail which they still had but unfortunately for about two weeks my email notifications from the post office were also disrupted and I do not even know if the post office had received this SSA tax report which I did not receive and so I am now going to the Social Security Office of my city to see if I can get a copy of my SSA tax report for this year to be able to file my taxes and you can understand all the cost of such mishaps for consumers like me. BTW I do not even need to file taxes because my income which is from retirement is next to nothing but I just file taxes to be safe than sorry later:) Anyways why I am telling you all this, is because I think what Elon Musk is doing contrary to all the havoc by liberal circles has some merrit and I think with your experience of having seen the other side of the coin, you can help him with all his efforts. I know you and him have been on different sides of the aisle and I am nonpartisan in US politics although I know you are not, but I think your expertise can compliment Elon Musk's efforts in this regard, and American people can benefit, me included!
