Dear friends who are activists of the Iranian opposition, I am sorry in this note that I am writing on the occasion of the first day of the New Year 2024, my purpose is not to tell you how to be active on the Internet, and I myself, who have been active on the Internet for more than 30 years, still I don't know if my activities have helped anyone at all!:) Now it's been more than 3 years since I created the L-1 and L-2 twitter lists that still exist. As you know, I basically have no contact with anyone and I just read everyone's content on the internet as much as I can, and maybe the opinions I give about people are not accurate and are just my observations on the Internet! Also, as you know, anyone can easily request to be added to these lists and if there is still room, they will be added! Anyways, these L-1 and L-2 lists have helped me to read the contents of people on the Internet who cannot necessarily be considered human rights activists or political activists or opposition activists or "activists" in the sense of what is understood from this word, but there are those who are interested in social issues and follow these issues and often have interesting opinions that are worth reading! These people do not necessarily know the Persian language and I doubt that they can even read the Persian script, but with the Google translator facilities, they can easily read even the Persian texts, and as a result, the language and the script really do not prevent the possibility of communicating with these friends! However, it seems that what Iranian opposition activists write is not usable at all for such users and vice versa! I repeat again that this impression of mine may be completely wrong! I mean for example understanding the writings of a prominent Iranian opposition activist Ms. Golrokh Iraee * whom I believe is one of the leaders of Iranian people! Anyways, L-1 and L-2 lists have given me the opportunity to read the writings of many users who are in these lists and what I wrote may be a description of their contributions. For example, I was recently reading the Twitter account of an Iranian man, and I wonder if his content is understandable for Iranian activists, or conversely, the content of Iranian activists for such Twitter users. I have linked his name Mr. Farzad Mesbahi and his Twitter address here, you can read and judge for yourself. Personally, like 99% of the other friends who are on my two lists, I have never met him and have never had contact with, however, I found their Twitter contributions to be interesting! Best wishes to all friends!

Hoping for a democratic and secular futurist republic in Iran,
