Yesterday I read an obituary for a great Iranian author Abbas Maroufi written by my friend Shokooh Mirzadegi, the founder and director of Pasargad Heritage Foundation, and was sad to read the news! This is surely a great loss; in fact during the last few years, I was following in the press, the sad news of great suffering of late Abbas Maroufi from cancer! I also have been dealing with cancer in the last few years but my suffering has not been that bad, and a few days ago my dear friend Ray Kurzweil suggested to me to take a look at a new medicine called 'Dostarlimab' and I do not know if the late Abbas Maroufi had tried that medicine or not. I am just researching about it myself as it is very new and I do not even know if it has been tried for my type of cancer, in my neck of the wood or not! I thought to mention the name of this medicine in case anybody else can use the information. I saw it on the Internet that many doctors in Iran are already administering this medicine to their patients! I do not know much about Dostarlimab and its side effects except for what is published in the press! My condolences to the late Abbas Maroufi's family, friends, and all people who care for decency in Iran and all over the world.
