Mr. Joe Biden, the US Democratic Party presumptive nominee for Nov 2020 presidential election, has called for easing the US sanctions on IRI. In the last 40 years, various US administrations have had different policies with regards to sanctions and Iran, which is understandable. Personally, for years, I have suggested specific alternatives to sanctions, but that is not the real issue here. Last week Iranian activist Dr.X wrote an article entitled 'Iranian American Democrats, who are they?' and also Ms. Masih Alinejad posted a tweet saying "Many Iranian human rights activists like me have to fight against both the Islamic Republic of Iran & their support networks abroad like the @NIACouncil." These are the questions that need to be answered as we know there were NIAC senior members running Iran-related affairs inside President Obama's Whitehouse. And for years, many US think tanks have published their findings about NIAC.

Hoping for a democratic and secular futurist republic in Iran,
