The recent atrocity in Brussels is having its reverberations all over the world including in the USA (1).
It is increasingly becoming clear that these terrorists are anti-secular Muslims, whether they live in Brussels or in Karachi. In contrast, secular Muslims whether they live in Albania or in Iran, have no sympathy for the Islamist terrorism. In other words, although the government of Pakistan is more secular than Iran, but the issue is the Muslim population and whether they are mostly anti-secular or secular.
The anti-secular Muslims, even those living in the UK, Canada or in Belgium reject secular life and want to live by the Shari'a law in their communities. If they live in a secular country, they are actually developing a hatred for the secular societies of their residence and this hatred is spilling over in the form of terrorist actions.
It is time to seriously work on starting a global secular initiative before it is too late (2).
Hoping for a democratic and secular
futurist republic in Iran,
