Today Bernie Sanders had a huge victory in Nevada's US Democratic Party primary election and just two weeks ago Pete Buttigieg and Bernie Sanders had victories in Iowa. My point is not about who to vote for in the 2020 election. The point is that Bernie Sanders with his Jewish background and Pete Buttigieg being a gay candidate does not matter to the voters. Even as late as 2016 we know Debbie Wasserman Schultz the ally of Hilary Clinton in the Democratic Party establishment conspired against Bernie Sanders advertising about Bernie Sanders being an atheist, thinking this will bring him down in the eyes of the voters and Hillary Clinton did not apologize for that conspiracy, rather supported Debbie Wasserman Schultz in Florida election right after that. And despite all that debacle, Bernie Sanders stood by his word and supported the DP nominee in 2016 who was Hilary Clinton. These are not issues in one's private life and are matters of public space. The voters today, i.e. 4 years later are showing they do not care for all the discriminatory bad-mouthing based on religion, personal belief, sexual orientation, etc. I have a serious issue with Bernie Sanders regarding his platform with respect to IslamicKKK and have said it before, but differences about platforms, is what should matter in elections, not prejudices, and this election shows America today is moving away fast from decisions based on discriminations and prejudices and that is good news for everyone. In Iran, for the last 41 years, there has been a government that makes all its decisions based on a pro-Islamist prejudice and that attitude of IslamicKKK should be a lesson to learn to avoid everywhere in the world.
