Today I read the following retweet in Lisa Daftari's Twitter from the site of Foreign Desk, and listened to Lisa's linked interview about the topic:
"Why does the left turn a blind eye to the human rights abuses, the maiming of women, and the killing of homosexuals and innocent people in Muslim countries?"
The issues Lisa Daftari raises in her interview about the Left are very true. Three weeks ago, I had a discussion in Persian about distracting from these realities by Anti-Americanism which has been promoted by Islamic Regime of Iran (IRI) for 41 years, and how the Left has supported it all these years. Eighteen years ago, publishing an article entitled "The Left: People with a Mission to Destroy Capitalism," the roots of this attitude of the Left as discussed in Popper's works was presented, and four years later, in an article entitled "Beginning of the End of IRI," Popper's discussion of Gorbachev's endeavor to make former Soviet people *normal*, was introduced. In fact, Karl Popper was very aware of these facts even before WWII but he did not publish his book entitled 'The Open Society and Its Enemies' till the end of WWII because he did not want to damage the United Front Against Fascism. This time around, the atrocities of IslamicKKK which is whitewashed by the Left is actually very much like Hitler's Fascism itself, all we need to do is to look at cases like Kayla Mueller forgotten by the Left (Photo of Kayla Mueller), that was reminded to us by President Donald Trump at his State of the Union Address ten days ago when Kayla's parents were invited and present at US Congress. For leftist and former leftist friends, studying an article entitled "Futurism versus the Iranian Cults of Past Communist Movement," is recommended. The Persian version of the article is in more details.
