PETITION: ABOLISH QESSAS LAWS IN IRAN

It has been long overdue to abolish the Qessas laws in Iran.  No nation can call itself civilized and talk about dialogue of civilizations, when upholding such barbaric laws in the midst of its society.  Stoning, amputations, and similar practices must stop in Iran.
