Yesterday, Dr. Esmail Nooriala, published a very interesting article in Persian, entitled 'In Search of Today's Cultural Discourse,' in 'Khabarnameh Gooya,' where he has explained the difference of 'religion' with 'Faith and other beliefs,' and especially has marked the difference of a 'state religion,' with both, and why 'political secularism' is a response to the problem of religious state that Iranian people have been a 'hostage to,' for 43 years!  Two months ago, Dr. Esmail Nooriala in an article in English entitled 'Why New Secularism?', briefly discussed the same issue, which is also a very interesting reading. In fact, 15 years ago, Dr. Esmail Nooriala, for 6 years, was the founder/editor of a weekly publication entitled 'New Secularism' where the viewpoint of 'New Secularism' was introduced in details to Iranian people, and the efforts continued in 'ISDmovement.com' (meaning Iranian Secular Democratic Movement to create a Secular Democratic Alternative), for the last 9 years till the present! Currently the outcome of all these efforts,  embraces the viewpoint, Iranian Secular Democratic Party pursues, as an alternative to the Islamic Regime of Iran, and in the last few months, these views have been offered to Iran's opposition as a series of videos entitled 'The Age of Alternative;' * watching the videos is highly recommended!

Hoping for a democratic and secular futurist republic in Iran,
