Many leftist/environmentalists present Corona pandemic as side-effect of technological advancements. In reality why humanity was not prepared for this catastrophe was because of these same people scaring people of side-effects of genetic research. It is funny they do not call themselves leftist now and come forward as "futurist" whereas the left has not been futurist for a long time, supporting reactionary Soviet Union and China. They keep using the story of Pandora presented by Marxist thinkers of the last period of Communist demise to scare people of side-effects of progress. I wrote an article in Persian about this so-called "true socialism" yesterday and explained about it in details, but unfortunately have not had the time to translate it into English. Real futurism is *progressive* in the real sense of the word, and has nothing to do with all this leftist nonsense.

Hoping for a democratic and secular futurist republic in Iran,
