P.S. 12/23/19: Reuters Special Report: Iran's leader ordered crackdown on unrest - 'Do whatever it takes to end it'
P.S. 12/30/19: This note was more about me and my mood and not prescribing it for everyone. In fact, Dr. X's posting on IPC site yesterday and his reminder to me that how on these occasions, we can communicate about Iran's situation too while celebrating, was inspiring. Happy New Year. SG
Dear Friends, Usually at this time of the year, I send Happy Holiday Greetings to my friends. But this year after the November 2019 street massacre by the Islamic Regime of Iran (IRI), killing some 2000 people across the country, I am in mourning and this X-Mas is the 40th day commemoration of martyrdom of Pouya Bakhtiari and others killed this November. IRI has already planned an Internet blackout for next week the same way they cut off the Internet at the end of November when they shot dead the protesters on streets. I hope by March 21, 2020, to have a different Iran and we can celebrate Nowruz, the Iranian New Year. Wishing for better days.
