I just saw the video of a speech by Cynthia Wagner in honor of Edward Cornish dated Sept 21, 2019. Cynthia Wagner is former Editor-in-Chief of World Future Society's magazine who reviewed my book 'Futurist Iran' in 2003 and the current subtitle of the book 'Futurism vs Terrorism' was her idea. I never met Ed Cornish in person but always remembered his words about Robert Jungk's understanding of futurism with regard to nuclear war. Just like Ed Cornish, Robert Jungk was also a journalist. Edward Cornish was the founder of World Future Society (WFS) and its magazine 'The Futurist' who passed away on August 14, 2019. . Ed's son Jeff Cornish helped me when I started the futurist Nova Bookstore in 1985 in Sunnyvale, CA. And here is the speech of Jeff Cornish at the same gathering. My condolences to Ed's family especially Jeff, and also to the WFS community especially Cyndi. I also saw the video of a speech by Michael Marien in honor of Edward Cornish delivered at the same gathering. I have written about the great contributions of Michael Marien to futurism in the past, and wish him and everyone else at the World Future Society the best.
