Jean Piaget has an interesting example when discussing child development; he says when a child is walking at night and sees the movement of moon and stars, s/he thinks the moon and stars are following her/him. This is the story of Prince Reza Pahlavi who thinks of himself as the leader of Iran's 21st Century revolution (1), which started a year ago in December 2017 (2) and has been led by the anarchists (3). The situation is not like the 1979 Iranian Revolution, when Ayatollah Khomeini led an extensive organization of Shia clergy connecting him to rank and file on the streets of Iran. Mr. Pahlavi, in 40 years, has not been able even to organize a demonstration of 100 people against the Islamic regime. There is no problem to have differences of opinion (4), but lying about the views of his opponents behind closed doors, has misled the US authorities and hurt genuine pro-democracy forces of Iran's opposition. Regrettably, US authorities, following Mr. RP's lack of understanding of politics, are isolating Iran's opposition (5).

 

Hoping for a democratic and secular futurist republic in Iran,
