چهارمین سالگرد بسته شدن بلاگ فرادید

Today is the four year anniversary of the closure of a blog called Faradid which was published in the VOA Persian web site from July to December 2012 (1).

More than 90 percent of the posts were about futurism and it was full of excitement searching and introducing future trends in Iran and abroad. Perhaps the percentage of my writings about futurism were the most during 2012 as compared to the last 30 years. But unfortunately because of reasons previously explained, the blog was shut down in less than a year (2).

Here is the description of Faradid as written by a good friend of mine at that time: What will be covered in Faradid is a technical view of the tool of science and new technology, and also its impact on the formation of logic, expression and new wisdom, in a Western sense of reasoning, and in this way, will build not a burrow, rather a tunnel to the future. In other words will try....

It may be a good question to ask ourselves why efforts like Faradid have not lasted long in the Iranian community during the last three decades.

Hoping for a democratic and secular futurist republic in Iran,
